(Orongo) Bij Ecstatic Dance kun je lekker vrij dansen. Plezier hebben, ontdekken en grenzen verleggen in je dans. Ecstatic Dance is een uniek dansevenement wat overal ter wereld plaatsvindt. Wees welkom bij Ecstatic Dance Groningen!

Omdat Ecstatic Dance op een vroeg tijdstip plaatsvindt, kun je de volgende ochtend weer fris aan je dag beginnen. Op de dansvloer wordt niet gepraat zodat je je lichaam weer helemaal kunt voelen. Alle muziekgenres komen voorbij.

Live muziek
Speciale gast van vanavond is zangeres en kora speelster Dymphi Peeters. En... DJ Yarun Dee is niet alleen Master of the Decks, hij speelt deze avond didgeridoo. De magische klanken van deze instrumenten geven extra verdieping aan de avond.

Ecstatic Dance begint met een openingsceremonie om 19.30 uur.
Je kunt naar binnen tot 20.30 uur.

De Ecstatic Dance richtlijnen zijn:

• Niet praten op de dansvloer
• Geen schoenen in de zaal, geen drank, drugs, mobieltjes of opnameapparatuur
• Respecteer ieders ruimte om alleen te dansen

22.00 uur Sluitingsceremonie met live muziek

Entree 15 euro inclusief onbeperkt Yogi Tea en gevitaliseerd water.

Ecstatic Dance is a unique free form dancing experience. Together we create a connected atmosphere where everybody feels safe and free to dance their dance. The purpose is to have fun, to explore, to be true to yourself, to discover and expand your limits. We welcome you at Ecstatic Dance Groningen! 

Ecstatic Dance is on week days at an early time. That makes it possible to have an early and fresh morning on your next day.

On the dance floor we don't use words for our communication and we dance barefooted or at least shoeless so you can get a full connection with the ground and your body. The DJ plays a musical journey where all kinds of music genres are possible.

Live music
This night we have a special guest: singer and kora player Dymphi Peeters. And... DJ Yarun Dee will not only be Master of the Decks, but will surprise us with his didgeridoo.

Ecstatic Dance begins with an opening ceremony at 19.30 hours to get connected and explain the guidelines. You can enter the venue untill 20.30 hours.

For the ultimate experience, we stick to the following guidelines:

• No talking on the dance floor
• No shoes on the dance floor, no alcohol, drugs, strong scents, mobile phones or recording devices
• Respect everyone's space. Give solo dancers the right to their own space
