“According to ancient Torah and oral tradition teachings, astrology originated in pre-Adamic times. Oral tradition says that it was re-activated by Enosh, the grandson of Adam (the third generation from Adam). In association with this astrological activation, came an energy of idol worship in which the sun, moon, and planets were seen as gods. This, of course, is not the Kabbalistic teaching - which is that the planets, like the planet Earth, and the stars have their own living energy as the spark of the Divine within them. The science of angelology explains this as each heavenly body is ruled by a particular angel that acts as the soul guide of that planet - an expression of the Divine in the cosmos.

These teachings were passed from Noach to Shem (Melchizedek) and Eber, highlighted by Avrahim Avinu, Yitzach, Ya’akov, and the twelve tribes. They reflect a deep awareness of living in a holy time. Holy time helps people link into the flow of the divine - as experienced in the movement of the stars, constellations, planets, sun, and moon. This is the essence of Essene Shamanic Astrology. Its focus is on understanding and aligning with the energetic influx of these heavenly bodies, set in motion by the Divine, which create certain energetic influences on the planet Earth. All of the Essene/Kabbalistic/Jewish holidays are based on the influxes of spiritual energy from the movement of the heavenly bodies. Understanding this gives you great insight into the flow of the cycles of each year and month and how to optimally live your life in relationship to the flow of these energies. The energy of the new moon creates a spiritual evolutionary cycle for the Essene practitioner throughout the cycle of the year. The modern Essene teaching is to be able to see these waves of energy coming and flow with them in the cycle of your everyday life.

The Modern Essenes have returned to the moon cycle and have integrated this sacred measure of the seasons into the, significantly separate, Gregorian time cycle (matrix time) which is designed to keep us slightly disconnected from Holy time. Moving from machine (matrix time) to Mah (Holy time) is an important step in the liberation process in which we ultimately go beyond time in the consciousness of the nothing/liberation of B’limah.”
