Last month, Moby released his new album with the Void Pacific Choir, These Systems Are Failing, and he shared a video for “Are You Lost In The World Like Me?.”

Director Steve Cutts took inspiration from Max Fleischer’s animations from the 1930s to create an old-looking, but thoroughly modern world in which everyone is distracted by their various devices. “For me the video is about our increasing dependence on technology and about human interaction today, or a certain lack of it. It focuses on the way tech is changing us – how we have become desensitized,” Cutts said in a statement. Watch below.
